WAO-USA-11/5/2011- A successful teleconference of World Arakanese organization (WAO) U.S.A. Branch was held by attendees who were participating from different states of U.S.A. There were joining by Telephone 26 persons including U Tun Won, Patron of WAO, and Dr. Aye Chan, President of WAO and Patron of WAO-USA, in the meeting.

An agenda of teleconference made “Refreshed Election” accordance with WAO’s constitution. During the meeting, elected ceremony speakers U Tun Won and Dr. Aye Chan delivered the opening speech and U Sein Tun, President of WAO-USA, undertook as master of ceremony and announced meeting agendas.
The both leaders U Tun Won and Dr. Aye Chan shortly spoke as an encouragement suggestion and master of ceremony declared all Central Executive Committee (CEC) members no longer their responsibility of WAO-USA. As first, all attendees democratically nominated the 14 CEC members for next Two years term. And secondly, they were unanimous in their election of position of CEC.

All attendees had been discussing all the current issues of Arakanese social affairs and Dr. Aye Chan, Moung Kyaw Htoo Aung and Moung Zaw Zaw Tun explained in detail their format activities and they are supposed to take action for current major issue. Teleconference of time performed six hours-started and ended from 6 pm to 12 pm Pacific Standard Time.
